No visit to Inveraray Castle would be complete without a visit to the Castle gift shop.
Extensively refitted in 1997 the shop incorporates and utilises the vaulted ceilings and other design features of the castle to create a relaxed ambience where visitors can take time to consider the vast array of quality gifts and books.
The business is managed by Iona, Duchess of Argyll, who personally commissions many of the items for sale. Within the Tartan Turret there is a wide selection of gifts with a Scottish and Clan Campbell association.
The merchandise includes a range of Campbell items, ranging from food to children's toys (such as the Campbell clad highland cows) as well as adult hats, ties and other clothes. There are an exquisite range of baby clothes and accessories, Scottish produced blankets and scarves as well as greeting cards, cushions, humorous presents, tapestries, books and much, much more..
The gift shop accepts all major credit cards and shares opening times with the Castle. |
