A few comments from our many lovely visitors.
Fantastic castle, steeped in the history and traditions of the Clan Campbell and the Highlands. The displays within the castle are fascinating which tell the history of the Campbell's once the most powerful clan in the Highlands.
When my 6-year-old son saw the eye-widening display of old weapons up as far as the eye could see on the walls at Inveraray Castle, he thought all his Christmases had come at once.
We had a wonderful visit to Inveraray Castle with our two boys. They loved it and the staff were so child friendly it was a real breath of fresh air.
I visited the castle for a walk around the grounds and spoke with his grace the Duke and his lovely wife. I have happy memories of growing up in Inveraray and castle parties with his father dressed as Santa, what a priviledge.
I visited Inveraray Castle in 1973, I enjoyed my visit very much with double joy at having the opportunity to meet the 12th Duke of Argyll, a wonderful man. I just wish I had known then what I know now about my Campbell heritage. I have managed to trace my heritage back to before Colin (the Great) Campbell. Thank you for a life time of beautiful memories and a fantistic heritage.
