What to see and do
Inveraray is easily one of the most iconic castles in Scotland, but there's a lot more to it than that. What about a wander in our recently opened gardens, a woodland walk and a visit to our traditional tearoom?

The Castle
Inveraray Castle is a unique piece of architecture and was the first of its size and type to be built on the West Coast of Scotland. Visitors to the Castle will be able to explore the many historical rooms available to the public, and helpful guides will answer any questions you might have.
"If you had the time to visit only one castle
in the Highlands, this would be it."TripAdvisor Review

The Grounds & Garden
The garden around Inveraray Castle have recently been replanted with wonderful plants of all varieties. Our new gardener has really put his heart and soul into making the surroundings of the castle as spectacular as the inside.

Tearoom
Our homely tearoom offers teas, coffee and a range of soft drinks, along with freshly made sandwiches, home made cakes, light meals and ice creams.

Gift Shop
The Gift shop offers a range of quality Scottish and Clan Campbell items, ranging from food to children's toys, books, clothes, jewellery and souvenirs.
"The displays within the castle are fascinating,
telling the history of the Campbells, once the most
powerful clan in the Highlands"TripAdvisor Review
